Hi there,
I want to transfer a file from a windows 7 PC to my ubuntu desktop - unfortunately the local drive on the left does not show the files of my ubuntu drive. I try downloading the file, but tviewer says it cannot write the file. What am I missing ?
Thank you for your help and suggestions !

Check permissions on the destination folder
In windows the 'system' needs access (The same user than runs the Teamviewer service for unattended access)
Not sure what the equivalent in Ubuntu is...

Thank you for suggesting.
Folder permissions are the same as for other software running under WINE, like keepass which does not encounter the same issue.
I briefly considered running TViewer under root priviledges (yikes!) to see if permissions were at fault:

but to no avail, because this hack is for version 7 and I could not find the "wrapper" file.
So I installed a SFTP-Server on the host-machine as a workaround in the meantime.
