Title: Disable unatteneded access for domain environment
Post by: Matt26 on May 26, 2015, 10:15:42 AM
hey all,

is there a way to disable the unattended access feature of Teamviewer within a domain environment?  ie, GPO, SCCM etc.

we need to restrict this access for all of our users; we've looked at GPO but haven't gotten this to work, can't find anything related to a registry setting that controls the feature.  any ideas?

thanks!

IN TV settings you can require local windows credentials

In settings >> Security >> Rules for connections to this computer

Change the unattended password to something unknown to users and then only the administrators can use their windows login info...

thanks for the response; is there a way to push this setting to multiple (existing) installations?  can it be set as part of the installation? (ie, command line switch, installer answer file etc)

Hi,

need this feature too. Is there any solution until now?

We have some users which must be able to connect to others so QuickSupport is not sufficient for them. But of course they should not have possibility to configure TV in the way that it is possible to connect their office pc from outside corporate network !!!

Maybe there is a way to forbid users editing TV configuration or parts of it?

regards Martin

I need this too for my corporate environment.

As a security policy, we cannot have any unattended machines.  There must be a challenge/response from a live user.  So therefore we need to be able to disable a tech's ability to set one up while maintaining the other features within the Full Version of TV 10.

So far I am unable to control this through the Policy in the Management Console and I am unable to locate applicable registry keys.

Anyone with any suggestions, I would gladly like to hear them.

Thank you,
