Title: Windows 10 - Cannot see display capabilities with laptop lid closed.

I am running windows 10 x64 on the newest version of teamviewer. I've noticed that if I leave my laptop lid closed(screen off), teamviewer will only render at 1024x768.  If I leave the lid open, even if the screen turns off, it'll run full 1080p like the laptop screen.  This was not an issue with windows 7.  PC is a 2015 Alienware 17 with an Nvidia GTX 970M

Any ideas?
