Title: Teamviewer on a chromebook
Post by: Davep on September 01, 2015, 10:46:54 AM

Hi Newbie here, forgive me if the question has been asked & answered before.

I have a chromebook, which as you may or may not know does not allow .exe files to be launched/installed.

So I log into teamviewer with "web login" I then see all the computers I usually connect to.

My question is, how do I connect to a PC (windows) that has not been added to my account.
Ie the screen where I normally enter the  id & password  of the remote computer.

Hope you can help

Cheers

Towards the top of the window click on the drop down menu that says "+Add". Choose "Add computer" then on the window that comes up click the "Add existing device" radio button and from there you can enter the ID and Alias and so on. I use it all the time on my Chromebook and it works fine. (When TeamViewer is working at all, that is.)
