Title: No session window?

When I attempted to use Teamviewer today I was unable to because the window with all the different functions isn't popping up. It says it's connected but I'm unable to find out what my session number is to give my friend. Tried reinstalling a few times. This just started happening. I'm using Windows 7.

Are you connected via VIA
Is the network that you are connected to likely to have a commercial firewall in place?

Not as far as I know. This is the first time I've ever had an issue. It even tells me I'm connected I just don't get the window with all those options.

No wifi. I'm connecting to the server just not getting the GUI to appear when hosting. It only shows up when I'm joining someone else.

Ah OK

That's a pain, but not unusual

Is the same for all computers that you try to connect to?

Yep. It was working one day and then the next, nothing. I haven't installed any new software since the last time I used it.

EDIT:Turns out I have to press the Teamviewer_Desktop shortcut and then the teamviewer.exe shortcut to get it to stream my desktop and bring up the GUI. Don't know why it's like that but it works now. Thanks for all the help.

Hi all,

I'm having the same issue as zidders, tried to do what he did but it does not work. I am getting the window asking me for permission for the software to modify the PC, I click on yes, the windows disappears but I am not getting the proper TV window.

I have been using it for ages and never had issues. It just stopped working a couple of days ago.

Does anyone have a hint?

Still having issues. It appears it's not connecting to the server.
