I have been running the portable app of teamviewer 10 for several months and find it extremely useful to get around our over bearing IT department at work. I have just updated my clients to V11 and so am trying to get the V11 portable app working on my stick.
The problem I have with the new version is that I cant log into my account (works fine when I go back to v10).
In the computers and contacts sign in panel when you have entered your username and password and press enter, it just does a system error type beep. Also when you try and press sign in button. It doesn't even try, it just wont let you click the button. Weird! I downloaded an old copy of Teamviewer 10 portable and it works again fine.
Has anyone else come across this?
The only reason I can think is that I have teamviewer installed on this machine and am just exiting the program to test the portable version. I have yet to try on a machine that doesn't have teamviewer installed.
Many thanks for any wise words on this subject.

I have just tried this on a clean built windows 7 Virtual machine (virtualbox) and it does the same thing.
So scratch the already installed theory. Portable just wont let you sign in anymore?
p.s. I am not talking about unattended access the program makes it clear this is not supported for portable app. Just signing into contact and computers

I can confirm this issue as well.

I've noticed one workaround so far is to click "Sign Up" on the Computers and Contacts pane, then immediately cancel out. For whatever reason, the "Sign In" button becomes active after.

Thanks for the workaround Gaplant

Good tip seams to work. Thanks
I would prefer a proper fix from teamviewer

My Portable app just updated (with portableapps.com) to version 11.0.53254P and it looks like Teamviewer have fixed the bug. Thank you Teamviewer!
