Hello all. I'm a newbie. I just downloaded and installed TV on three computers. All of them are Windows 7 64-bit.
First I installed it to my mediacenter/fileserver using VNC from a laptop. It went OK. Then I installed it to the computer I was VNC'ing from.
I don't know it the install went right, because it did not show me the presentation screen after installing (as it did back with the mediacenter), but the icon was there and it let me control the mediacenter PC.
Then I installed it to another laptop that I had beside me. Upon testing I noticed it was able to control the mediacenter but not the other laptop. It said "connecting" for a while and then "ready to connect". The screen in laptop 1 would blink for a moment but then it went back to normal. File transfer works only from laptop 2 to laptop 1, but not the other way round. Invitations from laptop 2 to laptop 1 work, though. I have installed TV on my android phone and the same happens: It can control both laptop 2 and mediacenter, but not laptop 1.
I have tried it with laptop 1's windows firewall up and down. I have also unistalled TV completely from laptop 1 using revo and reinstalled both normally and in administrator mode. Sometimes laptop 2 says "connecting" and then "ready to connect". Once in a while it will say "protocol negotiation failed" regardless of the firewall status.
So, the only thing I have left is reinstalling laptop 1, an idea I don't like at all. It's the kids' computer, so I'd like to control it.
I hope someone can help me about this problem. Thank you very much.

sometimes there a glitch that causes connection issues.
Ive found that clicking on "connect" waiting a second or two then clicking abort connection then reconnecting can help
make sure you don't already have another connection going at the same time.
