Title: TeamViewer dropped out
Post by: Pixelwarrior on January 14, 2016, 04:04:51 PM
Hello
I installed the free version as my mother-in-law sometimes wants help and she is 3 hours' drive away from me. I have a PC and she has an imac.
This morning was the first time I needed to use TeamViewer as she had an error message. I was able to log in and read the message so it was OK (turned out her battery in her track pad was dead) but I am worried because the connection dropped out a few seconds later. I got a message on my TeamViewer saying something like "Thank you, this is free for non-commercial use".
What happens if I need to change some settings on her computer that take more than a few seconds? I won't be able to do anything if I get kicked out in less than a minute. Is this how it's supposed to work on free versions, just a few seconds of use?
Thank you for reading, hope someone can help.

You should get at least a few minutes

Which version of TV have you installed. They seem to have made that worse (shorter) in more recent versions. Use an older version if you can
