Title: Cannot connect, "Not Ready" proxy error
Post by: maveriech on February 06, 2016, 05:22:14 PM
I cannot reach the team viewer server, team viewer 11 red icon says not ready to connect. If I go to settings it says the proxy settings may not be correct. I have no proxy network, I have another computer connected to the same network that can connect, it obviously also has no proxy settings. Windows network settings also shows no proxy. What can I do?

I have upgraded both machines to teamviewer 11, it had been working for about a month, all of a sudden this changed, lost connection with the machine and have not been able to reconnect. Tried reinstalling teamviewer to no effect.

Check the windows internet settings for proxy

It probably says automatic

Make it manual, and then leave blank

HI there, Matt:
I wonder if your suggestion applies to my problem

I have no proxies (both, PC and android are on the same LAN).  The connection fails whether I select the proxy as "automatic" or "no proxy".  CanĀ“t configure manual since it requires values (specifically for the proxy IP and the port).

What do you think?

This is probably caused by your router not doing loopback
Check the manual for it...

Alternatively enabling 'Wireless Isolation' on your router may also achieve what you want.
