Title: On using Teamviewer with a virtual monitor 2nd screen
Post by: guillermoe on February 24, 2016, 08:33:02 AM
Greetings.

I have this windows 7 computer that is being used nearly all day but I am required to check some code that is not working on it.

Could it be possible to use a virtual monitor driver to create a virtual 2nd display that will be used by Teamviewer while leaving the real monitor alone and not bother the other PC user?

Have tried some virtual display managers but they only arrange the virtual desktops in the same logical monitor, Teamviewer only being able to detect just 1 monitor.

Any suggestion will be appreciated.

This type or product can do that >> http://www.thinstuff.com/products/xpvs-server/

It has a 14 day free trial, and for a single additional screen is only US$40 ( I think)

Windows desktops normally only allow one user at a time, either remote or local (and that is covered in the cost of the OS)
