Title: Remote printing with web client
Post by: techsupport8F on February 29, 2016, 09:16:39 PM
Hi there:

New to TeamViewer so I have a few questions:

a) It would appear that remote printing does NOT work when one uses the web client - if that the case or is there a setting that I am missing?
b) If the web client isn't working, can I invite a user to access a machine I control and will that person be able to remote print if they install the TeamViewer Setup?  In other words, since if I logged into the TV website and can remote print (since I am running the full host setup file), does that right extend to any invited users?

Thanks in advance.

Don't know...

Can you test

My question is why would you invite someone to your computer so that they can print. Seems a security issue to me.
Why can't the other person just email you what they want printed?

Hi there:

I should clarify my inquiry - I support a number of clients, whereby I have Teamviewer installed under my name and company.  If I create a user, that user can logon to login.teamviewer.com and remote into their work computer using the webclient - I was just hoping said remote web login would support remote printing like the full installed version of TV.
