Title: Teamviewer without connected monitor
Post by: peak@teamviewer on March 10, 2016, 10:24:54 AM
I've spent a day trying to get TV work on a computer without a connected monitor. It Won't !!!!
Hardware solution is simple but 99% of the population using TV is not capable of connecting resistors to the VGA output.

TV is great at advertising new versions, esp. when you just have bought a previous such.
When will the developers at TV come up with a working software solution when no monitor is connected?

Regards
Peter

This is NOT official support

If you want OFFICIAL support, use the official support channels, the TeamViewer Facebook page or lodge a support ticket.

In saying that, I connect to a monitorless computer frequently via teamviewer

Some laptops won't work unless they have a monitor attached, but I frequently connect to 'servers', running both Windows Server operating systems, and also Professional versions of Windows desktop operating systems. This is Windows XP pro, Windows 7 pro and Ultimate, Windows 8.X pro, Windows 10 pro, Server 2003 [R2], Server 2008 [R2], Server 2012 [R2]

These machines are normally accessed with RDC or Teamviewer only - They don't have a directly attached monitor (or keyboard or mouse)
