Today I updated to Teamviewer 11. I tried to connect to another computer but nothing happened when I double-clicked on the list of computers in Computers & Contacts. I tried clicking another computer. Nothing happened.
If I selected the computer in the main Teamviewer window, and then hit Connect. It says "Connecting to Partner" "Connecting" and then a red dot appears "Reason Unknown".
I uninstalled and went back to v10. Same thing happens.
How can I get Teamviewer to work again?

I'm having this same problem... I've been using TeamViewer for 3+ years and never had a problem.
Suddenly today, no changes, no firewalls, same router... "Reason unknown" won't connect.
Using TV9, what the heck is going on???

Could it be a Windows Update that is causing this? I looked at my update history (I'm on Win 10) and i have these 2 things installed today.
Update for Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Update 4 Redistributable Package (KB3119142) -- this one is listed twice for some reason.
Security Update for Adobe Flash Player for Windows 10 Version 1511 for x64-based Systems (KB3144756

I have updates completely disabled on my end. Running Windows 7 and TV9.
Same settings for years, never had a problem until now.

Just tested on a different server, I cannot connect to anything. This must be an issue on TV's end.

Two of my machines are connecting just fine. It's just one that isn't. So, after several, "Protocol Negotiation Failed," uninstalling and re-installing, I got to looking through the options under Extras.
On all of my machines WHICH ARE WORKING, under security, the "Grant Easy Access" feature is checked and contains my account information. But under the machine I can't connect to, I can't check the box. Going through the "configure" option to assign an account doesn't do anything, either.
It doesn't appear the "assign to account" feature is working. Any suggestions?

My 2 PCs are on LAN, and both added to my account. Both of them fail with "Reason unknown" error.

The issue has been resolved now it seems.
