Title: HP Mediasmart with 0S8.1 showing up as offline in Teamviewer

I have an HP Mediasmart ex490 on which I've installed OS8.1. and Teamviewer.  Teamviewer is set up with an account that allows me to log in, etc.  From another computer, I can see my server online and access the files but when I try to log in with Teamview, it shows up as offline.

I tried taking the hard drive out and dropping it into a desktop computer and when I do this, I am able to log in remotely using Teamviewer etc. and all seems fine. But when I put the drive back into my Mediasmart server, it always shows up as offline.

Any ideas? It seems the problem may have something to do with the Mediasmart server but I'm stumped.

Is there a monitor attached to this device?
