Title: Laptop screen narrows when controlling it with Teamviewer... anything to do?
Post by: Kossie99 on March 24, 2016, 03:10:22 AM
I have just connected my iPad to my laptop thru Teamviewer. Connection/control seem fine, but the screen shrinks/narrows to oldschool 3:4 (it seems) ... Is it possible to make Teamviewer use 16:4?

Typically, the view you get on a TeamViewer client is a scaled version of the that on the server. In most cases, the server is your desktop. So if your desktop has an old monitor with 4:3 screen, you get a remote view that is 4:3. If you have a new LCD monitor that is wide with 16:9 aspect ratio, you will get a client view that is 16:9. The reason is TeamView captures what is drawn on the desktop and transmits that to you. It cannot change what is hooked up to the desktop.
