Title: Team Viewer Logs - Time ?
Post by: ch0wd0wn on May 12, 2016, 12:33:47 PM
I'm reposting this from another forum - but this was yesterday 5/11 - that's why my info below is referencing 5/11 at the time.

Today someone started remote controlling my mouse, went to amazon.com (which I had password stored) and sent themselves 3 X $100 giftcards, I was on the phone sitting there facing away until my peripherals saw the moving mouse, by time I grabbed the mouse, the order has already been completed and sent to some email address. I called Amazon and cancelled ASAP. Also changed my google settings not to save passwords, changed my passwords for amazon and other websites, I also changed my TeamViewer password (which was running).

I looked in my connection log "Connections_incomming.txt" and I see a connection today, however the time is way off.

Is the time in the logs GMT or something? My incident happened at 8:50 am 5/11/2016 , however the log shows this

4826XXXXX Chau Le 11-05-2016 15:46:55 11-05-2016 15:51:46 Chau RemoteControl {XXXXXXXX-2D23-4EF5-B238-XXXXXXXXXXXX}

15:51? That's 3 PM isn't it? Right now, while I"m writing this, its 1:48 PM. Little confused here.

Thoughts?

Most windows logs are GMT time, unless you specifically set them to use local time, so Yes I'd expect this to be the case.

What time zone are you in?
