Title: Mouse clicks stop responding in desktop area.
Post by: BNCole83 on May 13, 2016, 03:12:49 PM
I started experiencing bizarre behavior from Teamviewer remote today.   (Windows 10)

My left/right mouse clicks no longer work on anything but the start button and task bar.  If I restart the computer the mouse seems to work for anywhere from 10 seconds to 5 minutes, and then the behavior becomes erratic.

Initially I could right click on the desktop to get the windows context menu, but could not click on the menu itself.
I absolutely cannot click on any applications that are OPEN.

I updated Teamviewer on both ends and restarted.  Behavior changed somewhat.

Everything worked as normal for about 5 minutes. Then broke.
I can click on the taskbar/start menu as normal.  However the mouse clicks do not register anywhere else.
I cannot click on any open applications.

I remoted into my Mac and everything was working normally.  So this is either a Windows 10 and/or Teamviewer issue.

I'm having a similar issue. I'm only able to click in the task bar. Restarts are not working. It doesn't work properly ever, not for 10 seconds to 5 minutes before problems arise. Did you ever find a solution?

Sounds similar to the mouse problems reported here:
