Title: Screen "blinking"/flashing with remote connection

When I try and initiate a session on my wife's laptop and her lid is shut I connect fine and it briefly displays her desktop and the goes blank and pops up a message about the screen that flashes so fast I can't read it. Then her desktop re-displays, blanks, re-displays, blanks - etc    If she opens the lid, all is well.   

The same behavior occurs if she takes control of mine and my lid is closed. 

Systems are both Lenovo T450s laptops, Windows 10.  All hardware drivers up to date. Windows up to date. Both systems are set so that when the lid is closed while on 110v power, nothing happens. 

Any ideas what the issue may be? I've checked everything I can think of.

Same problem here with a brand new Dell Inspiron 15 laptop

Just a note- I "solved" my problem by installing the full version of Team Viewer vs host.

Glad you got yours resolved.  These systems both have the full free version on them.

Hm, apparently no one else has hit this behavior...  :-\
