I am currently evaluating Chrome Remote Desktop (free) and DameWare (several hundred bucks).

One of my "Musts" is Windows/Android connectivity.

For just Windows/Windows, Ultraviewer (free) seems pretty good.

Jury is still out on DameWare's Android aspect, so  Chrome Remote Desktop is currently at the top of my Short List.

Teamviewer for Android / Waking up Desktop PCs from Samsung phone

I have set up Team Viewer on a number of desktop PCs and on my Samsung S4 mini mobile. I can wake up any desktop computer from any other PC at home but I find I can only wake up my desktop PCs from my Samsung when I am on my home wi-fi. When I switch away from my wi-fi to using my mobile data I cannot wake up the desktop PCs. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

Hi, folks. Do you have problems with your Mac version of TeamViewer? I do. I can get it working just great. Until I need to restart my Mac. Then it forgets my login (even though I checked it to remember on login), and it forgets my Wake-On-LAN configurations. Once I reconfigure it again it works fine. Until I restart my Mac again.

I have seen that problem before and mostly a reboot of the target machine sorts it out.
Also this week there have been some pretty big issues with Teamviewer and it may be something to do with that. The first thing I would do is check that the target PC's ID has not changed, in which case you will need to re-register it with your account.

Teamviewer for Windows / After yesterdays update, wake on lan not working.

OK something happened yesterday and the ID of  one of my PC's changed. I have three PC's at home. Two were fine but one changed. I had to re-register that PC with Teamviewer servers. However, one feature that used to work with that particular PC was wake on lan, It was particularly useful because the PC is in the next room and I use it to wake up the PC before I use Teamviewer to communicate with it. But suddenly it just stopped working. I re-configured the target PC in the Options to accept wake on lan from my main PC, but nothing. My main PC no longer has the option to wake the remote PC. Does anyone know what's going on?

so i used teamviewer to draw from my samsung galaxy note 10.1. But the problem is  that the application doesn t reconize the pression of the tablet. So i need a solution for the problem. Is impossible to do that or it exist a plug in or a logiciel able to use the tablet pression?

Hi, This is the message that is popping up when I try to log into my Mom computer:

No Connection to partner!
Partner did not connect to router
Error code: Waitforconnectfailed

We've had Teamviewer for a couple of years with no problems until this week.  Big problem is my Mom is in another city & 88 yrs old so she'd not capable of helping me troubleshoot. It's sad because she need me to help her navigate around.   I may hire Geek Squad to go over but I thought I'd ask here, Has anyone got this error code recently & fixed it?

please give me an advice/
i run teamviewer V.13 on windows 10 64bit. try to get remote access to a computer of my friend. there was no problem when i connected to the windows pc. but when i try to connect to a computer with mac Virtual machine, my computer crashes, usually in 5-10 minutes, there is an note "page fault in nonpaged area". anf the screen of death appears, it doesnt matter if the remote computer runs on windows 8 or windows 10

please help me to fix the problem

This commercial use message kinda pisses me off. I am not using TV for commercial use and I resent the "accusation."  I own several PCs at 2 locations. My home, and across the street at my inlaw's home. I mostly only use TV to remotely turn off the PCs at the inlaw's so I don't have to walk over there. Now and then a file transfer. Maybe it's the number of PCs, I dunno. I sent the form, guess I'll have to wait.

Meanwhile, looking for an alternative.
