Teamviewer for Linux / Re: Content.IE5 Folder
« Last post by nla on October 25, 2018, 03:25:23 AM »
I sent Teamviewer an email about this, and this was their response:

Thank you for contacting TeamViewer.
Yes, go ahead and delete them. Those are just temporary internet files.

« Last post by nla on October 19, 2018, 04:13:07 AM »
I just noticed that there are 4 folders containing 500,000 files in the below folder
.teamviewer/6/drive_c/users/col/Local Settings/Temporary Internet Files/Content.IE5/
I am using Teamviewer 6 on Ubuntu 16.04 LTS

Can I simply delete them?
Thanks

Teamviewer for Windows / V13 - Worse version EVER
« Last post by 405Computer on October 08, 2018, 10:19:29 AM »
If you have version 11 or 12 and thinking of going to 13 - Don't spend the money and stay with older versions!

I have nothing but SLOW, DROPPED or INCONSISTENT connections with 13. Teamviewer has added this crappy "user must approve UAC" function control and renders most of your remote support options without the end user in front of his screen unusable.

I keep kicking myself in the ass for continuing to upgrade and use their software but I have hundreds of machines with it on already and feel stuck in their never-ending ring of crappy updates.

Teamviewer for Mac/iPad/iPhone / cannot get past remote Mac login lockscreen
« Last post by kbrown on October 03, 2018, 01:03:08 PM »
macOS 10.14.1 Beta 2, Teamviewer 13.2.14328

I have my home MacPro set to automatically wake up at noon every day so I can remotely access it without leaving it logged on and active all the time.

When attempting to remote in via Teamviewer, I see the login screen of the MacPro with my user checkmarked to show it is logged in, but it says below the line of user icons,  'Locked'.
I cannot get it to display the login password text box to enter my password to unlock and log in. How do I get past this problem while I am away from home?

Thx for any tips.

Teamviewer for Android / BACKGROUND COPY OPERATION?
« Last post by No2SocialMedia on September 23, 2018, 06:42:09 PM »
Hi. Firstly, I love teamviewer Android, it's great. Great, but flawed like everything in life!  :)
The flaws are few but there are some that I'm surprised you've overlooked.
Is it possible, or, can I make the following suggestions and...in fact I'll stop there. I'll just explain what I'm going on about.
There is only one flaw that irks me a lot right now. I'll write on that only.

1. When I choose a file transfer operation from a computer on my home network, can I please have an option to continue the copy in the background, so that I don't have to wait. I find, if I leave the screen and go elsewhere..to chrome or some other app, when I return teamviewer invariably gets stuck on a spinning circle(arrrggghhhhh!!!!) Or freezes. It certainly doesn't seem comfortable with my leaving it do work on something else.

Teamviewer for Windows / Configuring Permanent Access
« Last post by IndigoJon on September 18, 2018, 06:04:13 PM »
We have a scenario where we would like several people to be able to login to our host PC from their remote locations, and as long as the access ID and password stay the same, there is no problem. But when Teamviewer changes the ID and/or the password, now someone has to notify those remote users that there is a new ID, and if they are not notified, their old login information doesn't work.

I am looking at a pdf entitled "Teamviewer - Configuring Permanent Access". It shows clicking on an item during setup called "Configure Permanent Access on this computer". If that could be done, the remote users wouldn't have to be notified, because it sounds as if the ID would be...well, permanent. But I am running Teamviewer 13 and I don't see that option.

How can that be done, or is that a feature that is not available anymore?

Teamviewer for Android / Not Able To Remote Control Motorola Moto e4 Metro PC
« Last post by ngriffis on September 16, 2018, 09:53:30 AM »
QS Quick Support on Moto e4 and Standard TeamViewer on Windows 8.1/ Home Computer allows screen viewing of Moto e4 from computer but no keyboard or mouse control of Moto e4 from computer. I see no add-on for Motorola at Google Play Station. Any fix yet for this problem? Thank You for your response in advance.

Teamviewer for Windows / Windows 10 Sign In button doing nothing - Unable to sign in
« Last post by Winprice on September 04, 2018, 10:02:06 AM »
For all of the PCs I have at home, one is not letting me sign in.  I enter my email and password and click on the Sign In button, and it does nothing.

Has anyone seen and been able to resolve this?  I have approved my PC, but it has been installed on this PC literally for YEARs.

The log file shows this error:

2018/09/04 11:02:16.291 18256  4844 G3!!  AccountLoginStateMachine::OnLoginStarted: m_ssoLoginManager missing

Thanks in advance!
