Teamviewer5 for linux with proxy authentication
« on: October 24, 2010, 02:17:30 AM »
Dear All,
I am using Fedora 12-i386 in my laptop and have installed teamviewer5. I am unable to connect teamviewer. It always says, "Not Ready, Please Check your Connection". My network needs a proxy authentication. Teamviewer for Windows works well in my desktop having Win XP, in the same network. Any Comment will be of much help. Thanks in advance. ???

Seeing as this is an old message (almost 6 weeks old) I assume you may have fixed the problem.  If not, I suggest you look at the menu Extras>Options>General>Network Settings>Configure, and manually input the proxy settings.  This SHOULD work.  I don't use a proxy, but TV just works fine with Ubuntu.  I can't speak for Fedora.
