intel laptop resolution changes when lid closed

Hello all,

The resolution on my laptop is 1366 *768 when the lid is open, and that’s the size team viewer adjusts too. When i close the lid, the laptop changes the resolution to 1024 * 768. I guess its to free up video ram for the HDMI or VGA output?..... anyway closing the lid also forces team viewer to adjust the window size accordingly and everything gets squashed.

RDC has no problems with this actually and I will get the full resolution, in fact RDC will fit to the screen size of the monitor I’m using even with the lid closed.

Can anyone think of a solution?
