Upscale remote desktop resolution?
« on: January 12, 2013, 10:46:02 PM »
Is it possible to upscale the resolution of a remote machine?  I know I can downscale the resolution but it seems the max I can scale a monitor to is the resolution that it's currently set to.  It would be nice if I could scale up build machines to 2560x1440 when they only have a small 15" monitor on them.

not sure, when you first log into the remote machine, right click on the desktop and change ( increase)the resolution it is set to.

Unfortunately with a monitor attached you can only set the resolution to the max the monitor supports.  I was going to attempt this on a headless machine but then I will be stuck with one display, it is very nice being able to have multiple displays open.

Maybe this is something I should be asking a windows support forum as opposed to TV :)

Thank you for the suggestion though
