Remove Sponsored Session popup
« on: June 07, 2012, 04:51:13 PM »
So I read the previous thread http://teamviewerforums.com/index.php?topic=1255.0 Am I right in assuming that there's no way to get rid of this popup without spending $749.00 or using an external program? What is the point of the popup anyway? I'd gladly pay for a personal license if I could get rid of it. I run software automation on a remote PC and the popup screws everything up. This is a great program but the nag screen is not acceptable.

If you're looking for checkbox "Don't show nag screen", I have to say that there is no such setting in TeamViewer.
Do you have something against running external program that closes popup (like AutoIt mentioned earlier in this topic)? Why doesn't it suit your needs (just interested)? Did you try it?
You can just buy user license to get rid of nag screen.

If this program was amazingly better than everything else out there I would consider running a hack to get it to work, but that's not the case. Found a much better piece of software.

So, Kupo found out one more way to get rid of this problem ("Sponsored Session" popup window): find better application and stop using TeamViewer!

The easiest way to get rid of this "sponsored session" popup is for sure the TeamViewer9Extension tool by aczarus.com

And it is 100% freeware (no ads, no spyware)

I think there is another way to clear the "sponsored session" popup. It is only a work around but it seems to work for me.

If after ending my TeamViewer session I reconnect to the remote PC with TeamViewer and clear the popup, it does not reappear when I end the subsequent TeamViewer session.
