un-mute automatically
« on: June 30, 2014, 05:15:30 PM »
when I use teamviewer I always use it to speak with the person on the remote end. Is there a way to always have the speakers unmuted rather having to turn them on every time at both ends?

In team viewer options what does the remote computer have set in 'Audio conferencing' under options?

On the remote computer I don't see "Options". Where would I find that?

There are no "Options" under "Extras"

Under "Extras" are:

Invite additional participant
Remote printing
Take screenshot
Record, VPN
Remote update
Remote system info
Connection info

So this is meeting mode?

Who initiates the meeting, you or them?

I do use Meeting Mode. I want to be able to see the other person's computer, move around on it, and communicate with them verbally on it. Is there another way to do that other than "meeting"?

I've only been using TeamViewer for a couple of months and love it.

Another thing I'd like to have is that my cursor could be seen by the other person instead of having to activate it under "View". But one thing at a time, eyh?

Don't use meeting mode

Get them to install Teamviewer, and then give you their ID and today's password
You just 'take over' their computer

That's what I do. I just would like the "Mute" off the the mic as a default & also my cursor showing on their screen.
