Hello guys

Please help.

I am over 400 miles away from my main PC with latest [free] TeamViewer installed.

In short: I installed all latest versions: on PC, Android [Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1], iPhone 4s and iPad2.

Before I went to my holiday trip - I've tried to login from all devices to my PC - all worked well [from my local WiFi at my apartment].

Now when I arrived here, I tried to connect from ANY device and this is what I got:

"Unable to connect - A connection could not be established. Reason unknown."

Luckily I called my father to go to my apartment and check if something is wrong with a PC - he searched - all is well. No problems. He even rebooted - but problem still persists.

I have to say that this happened only with latest version of Team Viewer.

Please help - what to do? My father disabled Antivirus [just in case] - but I still couldn't connect.

Ah yes and just to add:

My father removed TeamViewer and reinstalled again - it keeps getting this address for remote control: 192.168.0.12 but I can`t access to it at all. Maybe this is something to consider as problem??? I've reinstalled TeamViewer here on my Laptop - I got connection number without dots between numbers and number does not look like IP address. Can you guys please try to connect to 192.168.0.12 [my PC]? If you get password window then there is something other problem. I can`t get pass window at all, but standard sentence:

Unable to connect. A connection could not be established. Reason unknown.

Please help.

Are these machines set to exclusively accept LAN connections per chance

I really have no idea. It might be? How to check and where? I am not at home so I can`t check it but also my father has no good knowledge about PCs. I've upgraded to new PC and installed Win 7 Ultimate - all was set to default during installation...

Yes! He said this option was set to Accept Exclusively!

So I told him to set it to Accept only or Deactivate option - and told him to speak me ID and password - but then NO NUMBERS appears!!! I didn`t believe but now he sent me image photographed from his phone - Your ID and Password are there now - BLANK [!?]

What to do now???

Now I'd try re-starting TV at his end, and if that doesn't work then I'd try re-installing at his end...
