"Teamviewer 8 has stopped working"

TV 8 will load, but when a connection is attempted to another machine, I get "TV8 has stopped working", then must close the program. Have tried multiple uninstalls and reinstalls. TV7 works fine, but TV8 not so. All other machines with TV8 work fine (xp, 7, 8)

Win7 64 Enterprise.
Any answers are welcome

I get the same error on the PC when I connect to it from an Android phone. The session works as long as I don't dissmiss the error message.

I have tried uninstall and reinstall.

Any help on this issue is appreciated.

Also happens on Windows Vista. Nothing to indicate what causes the error but symptoms include remote screen freeze and no control from remote computer. I can see the remote screen, see the error message, and even move cursor around on remote desktop. Buttons appear to recognize mouse hover, but I can't select buttons (i.e. on the pop-up window telling me "Teamviewer 8 has stopped working..." I can hover over the OK and Cancel buttons and they change as if the mouse is over them, but I can't click to make them do anything.) The computer is completely useable when working locally and that's the only way I can close error message and restart Teamviewer. Problem is persistent after uninstall/reinstall.
