Teamviewer crashes on inputting password
« on: November 20, 2013, 01:13:16 AM »
I'm trying to connect to my Windows 7 PC via Teamviewer installed on a 2013 Macbook Air. Both are on the same home network, once connected via ethernet cable (the PC) and one via wifi (the laptop).

Everything seems to be going fine until I input the password for the PC on my Mac. Once I do this and press OK, a window pops up on the Mac which looks like it is for the remote session, though after only a second or so of it being up, Teamviewer on the Mac crashes. This happens consistently and I have sent error reports.

Any ideas?

On the Mac: 9.0.23358 beta
On the Windows 7 PC: 8.0.22298

I think they were both the latest free versions downloaded from the official website.

Thanks

start with submitting a trouble ticket through the link in my signature.  In the mean time, have you tried to uninstall and reinstall on either machine?  If not try that first, often that simple process removes any bugs.
