TV connection to (as opposed to from) an iPad?
« on: December 22, 2013, 04:41:16 PM »
OK, this is probably a dumb question, but some advice would be helpful. I just got an iPad Air, and I'm trying to use Teamviewer with it. I have no problem connecting to remote computers with the iPad -- works great. But I am unable to connect to the iPad with a remote computer. Am I even supposed to be able to do that? The fact that I don't see any way to enter a TeamViewer password for the iPad suggests perhaps not. That is, is the iPad (and iOS devices in general, probably) a one-way device, TeamViewer-wise?

Heh. What's more, it seems to work only for a full license.

So indeed without these, TeamViewer on a mobile device can connect to laptops and desktops, but not the other way around. Makes sense. What's more, the mobile devices can't do file exchange with those laptops and desktops. I guess if I were on my mobile, with TV, and I wanted a file on a laptop or desktop, I'd have to connect with TV, e-mail it to myself, or load it up into some cloud folder.
