connection could not be established

Windows 7 to windows xp not connecting with teamviewer 9. It says, A connection could not be established. Reason unknown. Windows xp to Windows 7 works fine.

sometimes a simple reboot helps, occasionally i reboot my modem and my router along with the system.

I too have been suffering a similar issue. TV8 worked perfectly fine and I will roll back tomorrow on both machines to test again. Since TV9 I haven't been able to connect between my laptop and PC however I can use the Android app and both will connect fine. The laptop and PC are both on different networks too. I just get 'Reason unknown' after trying to connect even after setting up unattended access thus how I can connect using the App. I looked in the log files to try and see why. Booted machine I have access to and also reset modem and switch.
