Server did not respond
« on: February 06, 2014, 06:04:14 AM »
Beginning yesterday, my computer began receiving a teamviewer error. The error says "Server did not respond (timeout). Refreshing list." It doesn't pop up when I'm attempting to connect to another, just at different times throughout the day. I have not recently run any updates to teamviewer. Any reasons this may be occuring?

Post this to the Teamviewer Facebook page, they tend to respond faster there, you can also submit a ticket. follow the links int he news section at the top of the page.
Post back their response

I'm also receiving this error as of the last several days (today is Thursday 18 February).

At night, I lock the computer, but another user is allowed to log on. The system goes idle sometime in the evening, and when I come in in the morning. I switch user to log on with my Windows account - this is when it gives the "Server did not respond (Timeout) error when I log on.  If I then switch between accounts, there is no problem. TV appears to be running normally despite this error message.

Running Win7 Pro, all latest updates, just updated to TV  9.0.26297

Any further info?

I suspect that this is due to the remote computer and power/sleep settings, esp the hard drive power down if idle.

Check the power settings on the remote computer

I am getting the same thing on multiple computers that i am logged into.  It never pops up when im actually at the computer. I just see it when i log in or rdp into it.  both my home computer and work laptop on 2 different networks.  Both win 7 x64. there are computers in my group that go on and off throughout the day, but that is no reason for this error to pop up every day (because before a week or two ago, this has never happened).  It has to be some sort of bug either in windows updates or Teamviewer.

also on version 9.0.26297
