TV-9 not allowing Windows to control Linux
« on: February 28, 2014, 06:27:47 AM »
I've been using TV in the Windows world for several years. Now I've just installed it on PCLinuxOS from Synaptic. It is working perfectly.............
FROM Linux (PCLOS) to Windows
But I cannot get it to work...
from Windows to PCLOS
When I try to control PCLOS from Windows it establishes the session, requests and validates the password, and shows (on the PCLOS screen) that the session is connected. But, on the Windows machine, after the password is validated it throws a message stating that it is "initializing display settings" then basically goes to sleep. It doesn't hang either machine - but it never paints the PCLOS screen on the Windows computer.

Both ends are running a recently downloaded/installed version-9 of TV.

Any thoughts ? ...............................TIA !!
