Using PCLinuxOS KDE 32bit. When I go to setup a friend I clone my machine to a USB. And load that USB on the friends computer.
TV keeps the original ID on the clone machine, forcing me to delete several folders and files to have it reset when I reload TV from the repositories (where we store our software for the PCLinuxOS users).
It would be a blessing if in Options on TV to have a selection to reset the ID so one could quickly tell a person they are installing or helping how to change their ID.
Found this out, the other day when I went to help a 80 year old lady with a problem. And she had the same ID as I did.
It was my fault for not changing it when I reinstalled her machine after a disk crash. The snows this year has stopped me from traveling to assist folks (I'm in my late 60's and only ride a bike, don't own a car), so you can see where this might be a good option for folks you help who might be far away.
