Getting disconnected right after connecting
« on: April 22, 2014, 09:35:14 AM »
Hello everyone.
I am running TeamViewer 9 on my 2 home PCs and accessing them from work PC. I have been using TeamViewer to connect from work to home PCs for a long time, but since today I am unable to connect to HOME PC 1 from WORK PC.
When I try to connect, at the moment when the remote screen should show up, I get disconnected instead after 2 o 3 seconds instead ("Session with - has ended 0:02"). The remote screen doesn't show up at all.

A couple of notes:
- I can connect to the home PC 1 from mobile phone, other computer or from the work PC but only when I am accessing from outside of the work network (when connected to some public wifi)
- I have tried rebooting both work PC and home PC 1 (from mobile phone)
- I have not done any changes on the work PC or home PC 1
- I can connect to the second home PC (same public IP as home PC 1) from work PC
- Turning the firewall off on the work PC or home PC 1 didn't help
- I have the same (latest) version of TeamViewer on all the machines
- Operating systems - Work PC: Win 7, Home PC 1: Win XP, Home PC 2: Win 8.1

I suspect that something inside the work network is now preventing me to connect, but I dont understand how is it possible that I can connect to my second home PC with the same public IP.

Any ideas or suggestions that I could try? Thank you in advance!

Correction - When I tried again today, I am not able to connect from work PC (work network) also to other PCs... so it seems clear that something in the network is blocking me... any ideas how I can solve this?
Can I somehow change the port or something?
