Someone hacked my Teamviewer account?
« on: June 13, 2012, 08:43:48 AM »
I woke up this morning and saw a "Sponsored Session" (in spanish because that's how I got it setted up) meaning that someone entered my pc. But I didn't let anyone enter my pc. Is there any way to know at least the IP of the person who got in? I see there's a log file but I can't seem to understand where to find it.

In the teamViewer version that I have

Under 'extras' menu there is a 'open log files...' option

We have purchased the corporate team viewer and have a similar problem with users we have setup for remote access having a popup saying they had been remotely accessed when no one from the admin group had accessed them.  I checked the log files and no one was recorded as accessing the users machines during those times.  Checking our firewall logs we found the machines in question were being accessed by teamviewer during the time in question.  We called TV tech support and were directed to send our findings on the firewall logs to their support at privacy@teamviewer.com .  Once we have a resolution to the problem and the cause I will post the results.
