No directories on remote computer

60% of a file transfer connections result in this problem (see attached screenshot) no directories display on remote computer. and I have to disconnect and reconnect, often several times

*bump* won't work at all now!!! tried restarting TV on both computers NOTHING

I never have that issue, even with many Gigabyte files
