I upgraded to Teamviewer 9 a few weeks ago on a Windows XP SP3 32bit PC.  Over the last few weeks, intermittantly while creating or answering email (Outlook 2003 with Word 2003 as the editor), I began to get a popup error "an error occurred while trying to retrieve information from another program" when ever I tried to copy any highlighted items in an email body with either a right click or with CTRL-C.  I tried stopping and starting the clipbook service, restarting outlook, etc but error persisted.  I found that rebooting the PC would fix it for a while.  Today I was determined to find out what was causing the problem so with a new email open and some highlighted text, I opened task manager and started stopping all the active Tasks one by one and pressing CTRL-C on the highlighted text between each.  When I stopped the teamviewer task, the ctrl-c worked without an error.

I rebooted, opened a new email in outlook where CTRL-C worked fine until I connected to my PC downstairs with teamviewer then the error returned.  I opened a new Word doc and tried CTRL-C, there was no error but after I clicked the email icon on the word toolbar to open the mail envelope, the error returned.  As soon as I close the Teamviewer session, the error disappears.  I tried it with a chat only session open and File Transfer only session and no error.

I tried the same on the Windows 7 64bit PC downstairs with Office 2007 and could not reproduce the error but Outlook 2007 will not use word as the email editor.

Can anyone else reproduce this problem?

I upgraded to 9.0.29947 on WinXP SP3 and have the same issue. When connected to a session, I get the same error "an error occurred while trying to retrieve information from another program" when copying text in Outlook using Word 2003 as the email editor. After disconnecting the session, no error message.
