VPN access local IP address

I got the VPN working with Teamviewer and I can access the files, the problem is that I cannot access the local IP address of the machine I am connected to.  I searched the internet, people suggested to go into the properties of TCP/IP v4 and uncheck "Use default gateway on remote network", but my windows 7 machines do not have that option.

How can you get teamviewer VPN to route to the local IP instead of it's VPN IP address?  I have a program that connects via ip address to the server, and it doesn't work since it's looking for 10.1.10.200 and it can't be found.  I can't ping that IP either.
