Unattended Access
« on: August 25, 2014, 09:41:57 AM »
I've installed TV with unattended access on my brother's computer and it shows in my contact list. But every time his computer is rebooted I have to call and tell him to activate TV before I can access it again. We both are using Windows 7. I don't have this problem with any other remote computer.  Any ideas?  ???  Thanks!

CORRECTION:

Actually when I rebooted, TV does return to my contact list. But after a few hours it disappears even though there's been no change of the remote computer's status!???

That's really simple. The preferences in TV allow you to specify that TV gets automatically started when the system is rebooted. That's a big help with remote computers that suffeer power failures and automatically reboot when they do. In Preferences > General - check "Start TV With System" on your brother's computer. Not sure why it would disappear from your contact list, though.
