Hi,

So i have a gigabyte brix 4500 i7 and want to use it without a monitor plugged in to save space! but whenever i reboot the gigabyte (with no monitor plugged into the gigabyte) and remote access it from my other pc it comes with a weird looking screen and i cannot do anything on it. i have tried this multiple times and same result everytime. As soon as i plug a monitor into the gigabyte its instantly fine again!

Any help please?

Wow, I have exactly the same problem I guess, also a gigabyte brix I7.

Everything works perfectly but only whenever I reboot the pc (from remote) the misery begins  ???
As you can see in the tiles there are some windows buttons ans texts visible but impossible to work with.

(I can log in by typing my password blind, and press enter but the screen will keep loading veryyyy slow)

Transfer speed becomes terribly slow.

both on my pc as my android app I see the pc is online.

Thanks from the Netherlands!

Same computer, same problem!
I have the same computer, and tried to accomplish the same. The only way I can access the Brix is by rebooting in Safe Mode, or attaching a monitor.
I read in other forums (with a different computer model) that they got it to work with a VGA cable attached to the computer. I am unable to get an adapter right now, since I´m in Mexico and is harder to find the adapters and more expensive. But maybe one of you could try and get an adapter from minidisplay Port to VGA or DVI and try to see if that solves the issue. Or maybe try an adapter from HDMI to VGA or DVI. Please post if you get it solved.

Although not an ideal solution, what I did was to disable the Iris Graphics driver on Device Manager. I do not use the Brix for intensive graphics applications, so it works for me.  :-\

SAME PROBLEM.

Im using windows 8.1. And Teamviewer version 9.0.299. DELL Inspiron 15r 3521 laptop. Intel HD4000 And AMD HD8370 graphics. I have even set AMD graphics to work on HIGH PERFORMANCE for teamviewer (disabled power saving while teamviewer running)

Everything was working fine till yesterday, and today when I shared my screen to my friend he sees only BLACK or Black screen. He can see my screen sometimes when I move my mouse, but only a part.

Im attaching a video of the same problem. I have restarted teamviewer server and even restarted my laptop, still problem persists. Also, when I tried using join.me my friend was seeing only BLACK screen.

Hi guys,

Sorry to be  in your boat, glad to report a possible solution.

Fresh install of a Win 7 64 bit on a Z87 MB + Pentium G3220 CPU (using the GPU inide). When disconnecting the monitor, no image on TeamViewer. After a lot of googling, it seems to be a problem of the Intel drivers that Intel is "trying" to fix since March 2013...

1st possible solution: Remote Desktop Connection (M$ built in solution) works properly inside the network. Can possibly work for outside connections if you forward a certain port to the workstation you need to access.

2nd possible solution: If you can somehow access the resolution settings inside the workstation, you can force the GPU to manually switch to a VGA output. You are stuck at 1280 x 720 res with NO possibility to change it. The good news is that after reboot, the settings stick and you can still access through TeamViewer. I stumbled upon this and unfortunately I did't document the steps to do this. I just played around with the settings and tried to select any output...

Now, in order to do this trick, I had to install and run a trial of LogMeIn, which was able to display the initial 1024x768 screen that TeamViewer refused to do. Remote Desktop Connection is a no go since it won't allow you to access the resolution settings, it simply scales to whatever screen you are using to remote controll.

And, in the words of the immortal poet: "pics or it didn't happen"
