HI Guys
im hoping someone here can help me getting WOL working properly
I have set up WOL on the target PC and confirmed when using a magic packet sender that i can wake the machine from sleeping when connected to my Lan - so the hardware is good
I however want to wake from the internet. so i have done the following
On the target PC i have setup WOL in teamviewer and selected WOL from internet address and entered my public IP address and port 9 (so 114.xx.yyy.zz port 9)
In my router i have setup port forwarding and forwarded Port 9 to the IP address of the target machine (192.168.0.13)
This didnt work so i tried to use the broadcast address on the local network by forwarding port 9 to 192.168.0.127 with a subnet of 255.255.255.128
alas this didnt work either.
Im not sure what else do to here - im sure its something simple but im stumped for the moment
If someone can help that would be great
