Mouse Pointer Trapped in One Monitor
« on: March 27, 2015, 01:06:09 PM »
Suddenly unable to operate in two monitors simultaneously on a remote PC. Remote PC has 2 monitors. Able to select and click in 1 monitor but when moving over to 2nd monitor mouse pointer stays in a 1st monitor in a remote PC. Tried changing all different combinations of display priorities on a remote PC but no result. It all used to work properly until today.
Either monitor can be worked on ok if displayed just 1 at a time, but not together. Also if I shut down 1 monitor out of 2 the remaining monitor will "blink"/refresh and will start working. Exactly identical monitors. 1 Digital and 1 Analog mode. This set up used to work. I am unable to change or check cables/connections on the remote PC for a few days.

any help would be much appreciated.

I've had this exact same issue today. Suddenly started this morning with no change in hardware or software.

I'm facing same problem. It's frustrating to jump from one window to another everytime even though you've got two monitors.

Just hit the same problem. Everything worked fine on Friday afternoon, but its not working now.  I can open a second window showing the second monitor, but as soon as I do the mouse ceases to work on monitor 1 and only works in the 2nd monitor screen. It shows the mouse moving on monitor 1, but when you click anything, it activates whatever would have been clicked on from monitor 2 in the same position.
