Lose unattended access when WAN IP changes
« on: April 21, 2015, 01:27:47 AM »
Hi,
I set up unattended access to help a family member when necessary. They have a DSL Internet connection and frequently get a new WAN IP address when it connects. This immediately drops Teamviewer (v10 on Windows 7HP) offline and the only way I have to fix it is to re run the unattended access wizard which requires being sat at the PC! This makes the unattended access pretty much useless. How can I make Teamviewer reconnect automatically when the WAN IP address changes?
Thanks

matt

It certainly should do that

If it doesn't reconnect after say 10 minutes by itself, then I'd lodge a ticket through official support channels.
I'm on version 8 - but it does that for me automatically. That's the point of unattended access I reckon.
