TV - Authentication rejected

I have been using TeamViewer for years to help my Dad and others when they manage to break their PC. The last two times I have tried to help the family I have been unable to authenticate to the remote system even though the credentials were definately correct.

Is this some kind of back door attempt to get me to pay even though it is legitimate, non-commercial use?

MY guess is not...

This is a user run forum and not official TV support

My guess is also that TV has had the password changed at the remote end

Sadly not, If I connect with another remote utility I can see the TV password is correct...
