You are blacklisted or not whitelisted by this partner

I used to connect to a friend's computer before without problems, but when I try now, after entering the Partner ID, a second or two later, but before being given a chance to enter the password, I get this message "You are blacklisted or not whitelisted by this partner." The blacklist and whitelists of this partner are both empty. She has not tried entering my ID in her whitelist, but (a) it should not be necessary as it never has been before and (b) it would lock anyone else out for unattended access.

Either you are blacklisted, or she has changed settings to require a whitelist and you aren't

The error is literal I'd expect
