File Transfer Only
« on: November 14, 2015, 11:31:11 PM »
If someone wants to send me a file is there a way to allow that while restricting having to give them "full access" to my computer?

If you have a TeamViewer account you can add the other side (either their account or via ID) and send them a file (right click on the remote PC/account -> one of the icons on the bottom).

I think you may have misunderstood my question. I know how to send them a file. I want to receive a file without the sender having full access to my computer!  Is that possible?

Isn't that just the other direction? So whoever wants to send you a file needs an account and if they have one they can add you and use the send file feature and that would not give them access to your file system or you access to their file system.

Ok, I see what my problem was.  I didn't realize that I could tell on my screen whether the sender selected "file transfer" or "remote control".  That was my only concern.  Thanks much for your help Shadow!   :)
