Teamviewer 11 not launching (incompatibility issue)

Hi I am all of a sudden having an issue where TV11 will not launch no matter how I try. Running up to date Windows 7.
The only way I can actually get it to launch is by accepting and running the XP compatibility settings offered by Windows.
It previously worked just fine. I have uninstalled TV11 and reinstalled but the problem remains.
I installed with Admin privileges and attempt to launch as Admin but to no avail.
I can still continue to run under these XP settings but if possible I would like to solve the issue properly.
Does anybody have any knowledge of this problem and how I might fix it?
