"Commercial Use Suspected"
« on: February 08, 2016, 07:49:00 PM »
Hello, I've been using TeamViewer for around a year now in order to control my grandparents PC (mainly for Skype use), yet recently I was unable to connect to their computer due to "Commercial Use Suspected" on one of our ends. I have attempted to send a ticket to the support team but that was over 9 days ago, I've attempted to contact through Facebook, and they told me to try support team again with sending them files of our connection I did so, yet I have not been contacted at all, I obviously won't go in to depth but you could imagine that having 88 and 86 year old grandparents living alone is brings large concern on their health when you are unable to contact them, so please respond as soon as you can.

unfortunately there is no official representative for TeamViewer on these boards that can address your , ad your issue is really a reason this site was started, lack of support and slow response time for the free user.
My suggestion is to return to Facebook and persist there,( and suggest they get representation on this site)

If you google this problem, you'll find solutions. Unfortunately most involve changing the MAC address of the system you're working on. There might be simpler ways. It might not be something you yourself did, but perhaps by someone else using your computer. Are you using a shared machine? It would be interesting to know how TeamViewer flags suspected commercial use.
