What is the unattended access password actually for?
« on: March 12, 2016, 03:22:11 AM »
I've never quite understood what the unattended access password is actually for? I set it on the target systems but I've never been asked to type it in?

Confused.com!

Thanks, Rob.

You have it saved in your computers and contacts list don't you?

If you want to use the password, delete the password for that machine in your computes and contacts list

Ahh thanks - that makes sense now. If one removes the password from the list of computers, you're then prompted for the password displayed on screen. I never realised you could have none-unattended computers in the list

Thanks, Rob.
