Teamviewer 11 not responding on close--Windows 10

I have a brand new PC running Windows 10 Home x64 (November build 1511 with latest patches).

I connect to a remote client with no issue. I then close the remote client window and it disconnects smoothly. However, when I close (click the X in the upper right corner) of my desktop client, it hangs...I get the blue circle. I click a second time and I get the non-response message: 

    TeamViewer 11 is not responding...
    __Close the Program
    __Wait for Program to Respond. 

I have tried rebooting and re-installing; all to no avail.
